Fifth Annual Juried Show & Sale

The Artisans Guild-Eastern Shore of Virginia will hold its Fifth Annual Juried Show and Sale on Oct. 20 - 21, 2001, at historic Kerr Place, a 1799 mansion in Onancock, VA.  This show serves to educate the general public about the outstanding fine crafts produced in the region.  The Guild currently has over 40 juried members doing professional quality hand work and many of them will be offering their work for sale at this once-a-year juried show.  This years display will include wooden furniture,turned bowls, metal jewelry and decorative sculptures, wildlife carvings, leather bags, paper sculpture and ceramic tiles and vessels, as well as. iron and copper works and woven baskets.  There will also be oven, knit, printed, painted and quilted clothing, rugs.    The show will also include two invited new guest exhibitors in the decorative wood carving area.


The Show will be held Sat. Oct. 20, 10-5,
and Sunday  Oct. 21, 10-4.
The Show is Free but Admission to Kerr Place is $4.00

CHI, VA Eastern Shore's only non-profit holistic health and healing Center, announces 2 new Healing Touch workshops.  These workshops are open to health care professionals as well as any care giver looking to expand their knowledge and skills and add a new and wonderful treatment to their repertoire.  Continuing education credits are earned and accreditation is with the American Holistic Nurses Association. 

Introduction to Healing touch, Level 1- will be held September 22-23 at the Woman's Club in Onley, VA.

Healing Touch, Level 2B will be held on November 4- 5 at the Woman's Club in Onley, Va
